So this past weekend, Christin and I spent 2 nights at the Edgwater Inn at Old Orchard Beach. It was amazing, our room was about 100 feet from the beach (2nd floor with a balcony) The room had a fireplace and a jacuzzi! We checked in on Friday night and had a nice relaxing evening in the hotel. Then we went out for a late night movie (Dan in Real Life) which was pretty good, just don't expect any "Office" type humor.
Saturday we slept in and went for a walk on the beach (yes it was freezing!) before going to breakfast at a 50's diner type place. After breakfast we went bowling which was a lot of fun (I won of course ha ha)
Saturday ended with a nice dinner and some quality time with my sweetheart.
It was a great time to just get away from our busy lives and focus on each other and have fun together for a whole weekend, just us.

It sounds like you two had a wonderful weekend! Getting away from the every day busy-ness of life is so good. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas break for just that reason.

Hey! I'm ready for an update! This is the only way I get to know what's going on up there with my dear friend and her husband who is also my friend.
